The total of 17,221,000 was successfully handed over on Wednesday 12th December to Ms Oanh and her colleague of Tuoi Tre Newspaper. Ms Oanh, the manager of the much celebrated charity Thuy’s Dream was extremely impressed when hearing of all the campaigns and exploits involved in Movember and hugely grateful and appreciative of all the hard work and kindness the students and teachers of BIS have shown towards their charity. The funds will contribute towards medicine, assisting the families at the Children’s Cancer ward of the Binh Thanh Oncology Ward and for repatriation. The remainder of the funds will be split between and donated to the Movember UK charity and to support the resources for the Cancer Ward Visits. Thank you for all those that were involved! The Cancer Ward club members are currently scheming their next plan of action… watch this space!
