Community

The Children with Cancer Club has really blossomed this year. Not only have BIS students persevered with their valuable visits to the oncology unit in Binh Thanh, playing and interacting with the children there, but they have also succeeded in raising hundreds of dollars to help several of the families there buy medication for treatment. BIS students have helped raise both money and awareness by planning, organising and executing fun and engaging whole school activities, including the Movember campaign and term 2, Blind Date. I have no doubt that more innovative ideas with follow in 2013-4!
