Another of our regular service visits was made this Wednesday to the children's cancer ward in Binh Thanh. BIS students helped make paper flowers for Sunday's upcoming Sunflower Festival as well as playing and reading with the children in the ward.

 

The Movember cancer awareness campaign is in full swing at school now with many male teachers growing their facial fuzz for the cause; as well as there being both section assemblies and 'Newswatches' in tutor time devoted to exploring different aspects of cancer, both locally and globally.

Parents who wish to help support the children in the cancer ward can come to the open air site opposite Family Medical in District 1 this Sunday between 8:30am and 12pm. Alternatively, you can contact Jay Nielsen from the PTG directly.
