Last week the Year 9s held a Helmets For Kids
Campaign. As representatives of 9V, we, Joowon, Mary and Deeva all took part in
spreading awareness and raising money along with the rest of Year 9. Despite
our best efforts, there have still been some students arriving to school on
motorbikes and bicycles without a helmet; today and yesterday two different
Year 10 students were spotted getting off a motorbike with no helmet in sight!
Wearing a helmet when on a motorbike or bicycle is part of the school policy (written
in our diary and school handbook). Parents, students and teachers we urge all
of you to support our cause, especially when it’s a matter of life and death.
